Footwear of choice for the Lordyada and an example of the superior sartorial standards of transyadas everywhere, wingtips are a form of brogue characterized by, in addition to the decorative perforations ubiquitous to all brogues, a pointed toe cap that runs along both sides of the shoe. Viewed from above, the toe cap resembles a bird with extended wings, hence the name.

Equally appropriate in the office, on the golf course, or at formal occasions, wingtips are an outstanding addition to the ensemble of any well-dressed yada. Lesser mortals, however, may laugh and ask if that yada is going to a tea party; but no one ever said fashion came without a price.
